More ruffle scarves
I had so much fun making my first ruffle knit scarf (pattern) that I made two more. One in black to go with everything and one in a lighter color. I wear them indoors in venues that are on the cool side in the winter time, or as scarves over coats outdoors. They are surprisingly warm. Here is the black one, wrapped loosely over one of my favorite dresses.
I bought the skein for the lighter color scarf on a whim. I used the last of it to work a ruffle edge on my frilly poncho. Here they are as a set. They are worn over a sweater dress of my design.
This was my outfit going out today. The only thing not of my design (aside from underwear) was the turtle neck layered under the dress. It was warm enough for a seasonal early November mid-morning in North East Pennsylvania. The outfit drew compliments.
