Korea fashion 2015

I have been watching recent Korean dramas lately. I can tell they are recent because the characters hold tablets to their ears to make phone calls. But this post is not about gigantic smart phones, it is about fashion.

Seoul is one of the fashion capitals of the world and what shows up at fashion shows there and soon afterwards in Korean movies and dramas is what we have to look forward to.

We've had a nice stretch of exquisitely feminine and flattering apparel, but I am worried that that's coming to an end. The 80's are back, people!

[2/22/18 Update] This fashion wave made it to the US 2 years later and I buckled. I got over my body image issues and made myself a pencil skirt from pants.

This last look, I like, even though I don't know that I could pull it off. Remember the 1987 pattern I found tempting? Maybe now is the time to get working on it.
