Frilly poncho
Also finished in time for the arrival of colder weather, a quick poncho from craftyarncouncil.com. This is what it was supposed to look like
The pattern is super simple and super quick, as it is knitted with fat yarn on fat needles. One interesting element of the pattern is a row of eyelets at the neckline to thread a tie through.
I made mine frilly:
It's got everything. Glittery yarn, glittery ruffles, and a wide silver ribbon. The rest of the pattern is the same. To finish the bottom, I worked three rounds with a magic ruffle making yarn (see this post).
And yes, I am bold enough to wear it in public!
