During a run to my fabric store for another spool of white cotton for my current project (a
tablecloth), I found some craft paper on sale. I have been taking an interest in origami but never took the plunge, until last night. I do not know what origami paper is or where to find it. I believe it needs to be square and of a certain texture, but I used what I found to make my first real origami project (I tried my hand once before on an origami cat, using a page from a magazine).

Modular Origami box. Instructions here. |
I did not start with the easiest thing, this being modular origami. But it makes a strong box lid, or bottom if one has the heart to turn this beauty upside down.
