Capsule wardrobe of handmade knitting - Day 5
Still seasonal today. I wore my sweater dress.
The warm version. Over the dress, I layered a sweater I knitted from a pattern in a magazine a long time ago. I am also wearing sweater tights (layered over the opaque tights) and matching winter boots. The scarf is one I made when I was first getting back into knitting 20 years ago, after a long hiatus. It is so simple it does not deserve its own blog post. The key is to pick a fluffy, textured yarn. Then use needles several sizes larger than the recommended size and knit the scarf in garter stitch. Finish with fringes.
The indoor version. The dress is warm so I have to keep the under layers light.
