Fuzzy short sleeve sweater

Last time I went to Joann's I found a big ball of light grey fuzzy yarn in the clearance bin. I was hoping to be able to make a sweater out of it (the attached pattern was for a sweater that called for one ball). But I picked a pattern with cables, so I did no have quite enough for a sweater. I made it short sleeve. For once in a couple decades, I followed a pattern to the letter. Well, except for the sleeve length, where I did some math to cast on the correct number of stitches. I essentially started the sleeves at the elbow and worked my way up to the sleeve cap, where I rejoined the pattern.

The pattern I used is a high fashion pattern from Berroco, most likely from the 1990's, though the only thing giving the decade away is the model's haircut, the design is classic and so timeless. My haircut, well, is Covid era. The pattern in still on the internet, in the Berroco's archives.
