Gold, lacy stole

I started this stole a mere 2 weeks ago. I never thought it would work up that quickly! It's all the holes. I uses an interesting technique, discussed in my first post on this stole (also contains a link to the pattern from knitty.com). Here is the completed product.

I am toying with the idea of reusing the pattern used for the ends of the stole (which the designer calls "frills") to incorporate in a dress design.

Because I love that part of the pattern again, here is a before and after picture. One frill unraveled and the other not unraveled yet. Once unraveled, it literally doubles in length and becomes a lot lighter.
