Teal blazer XIII - Attaching the lining to garment along side seams
At this stage, we have finished the knitted part of the blazer, and also assembled some of the lining. See labels "teal blazer" to find previous posts.
Begin by laying the knitted blazer on the work surface normally and open up the front panels. On top, lay the lining right side up (so the wrong side of the lining is facing the wrong side of the blazer). Match the side seams.
Next fold the lining to the right and expose the right side seam. You should have exposed the wrong side of the back panel of the blazer and also the wrong side of the back panel of the lining. Match up the side seams and pin together from the armhole, but not all the way down. There is no fast rule on how much to leave unattached at the bottom, I did about half-way.

Sew the side seams together.
Next fold the lining back over to match the back panels (get back to the initial configuration). Fold the front panel on the left to the right to reveal the other side seam. Secure in the same way as the first seam.
